Whenever David and Anne can find a reason, they stay in other b&b's and hotels - and most of the time they find something to emulate (occasionally it works the other way too - they decided to pass on the crocheted toilet roll covers).
All of the beds have a fluffy down duvet (a lighter duvet is provided during the summer months) and all of the bed linen and towels are Egyptian cotton. Free WiFi throughout the house. Each room has a television with DVD player, there is a small library of movies for guests to choose from. There are tea/coffee making facilities with local bottled water or a filter jug (more environmentally friendly!), with a selection of coffees and teas as well as a biscuit to take the edge off. By the way, each of the bathrooms has a window - most hotels don't!

And a word about pets: we are happy to welcome well-behaved dogs in our cottages, £20 per dog (£25 for 2) per week or visit for shorter stays but in the interest of guests who may suffer from allergies, we regret that we do not allow pets in our bedrooms at Four Gables. There is safe walking for dogs up Oaks Lane.
