TWIN / FAMILY BEDROOM
This is our largest room with two single beds and an optional double bed; the
latter is a small sofa when it isn’t a bed, but you may be surprised at how comfortable
the mattress is to sleep on.
The room also has a west-facing bay window overlooking the front garden, birch
period furniture and an impressive art nouveau fireplace. Hanging oriental rugs
from Morocco and Turkey add a somewhat exotic touch, which is enhanced by a number
of original works of art. Like the other rooms, the twin bedroom has original
hardwood floors with strategically placed thick wool rugs, as well as period furniture. The bathroom is en suite – it was formerly the landing for the servants’ stairs
(with window!).Prices:
£36 - £41/night per person for double occupancy, or £46 – 56 for single occupancy,
