With its bay window overlooking the front garden to the west as well as another window facing south with a view of the sunken garden, this sunlit room with its beautiful art nouveau fireplace is a favourite.
We have furnished it with period furniture (beech and walnut) and artwork, most of it original. TV & DVD. The English oak hardwood floors came with the house; all we’ve added is some thick wool rugs, including a nice oriental one. The en suite bathroom is tiled in gleaming white – and yes, it has a window. Prices:
£38 - £43/night per person for double occupancy, or £50 – 60 for single occupancy, depending on no. of nights - the lowest price is for 5+ nights, but we offer a discounted rate for as few as 2 nights.
