This is to advise that we do not, and never have, kept a data base of guests who stay with us. We do not use guests’ e-mail addresses for any sort of marketing, nor do we ever pass them on to third parties. If you have made a booking with us, your e-mails will stay in our system for about a year (sometimes as long as 18 months) before they are deleted.
The phone number(s) provided to us by guests in conjunction with a booking are hand-written in our big booking book, and we keep the books from past years locked away. Likewise, the registration slip filled out by guests when they check in, which include an address, telephone number, and e-mail address, are kept in a locked location and then destroyed. The Inland Revenue requires us to keep such records for 8 years.
